Although Jai started his dance journey at the late age of 16, he continuously strives to amplify his style, technique, and knowledge of dance. After acquiring an Associate of Arts in Dance at Houston Community College he continues his dance education at Lamar University. Jai has also shared his own choreography throughout Houston since 2015; since then he has performed at The Hobby Center with Planet Funk Academy (2015, 2016), choreographed and performed at The House of Blues with Isaac Niaz (2022), choreographed and performed at The Dia De Los Muertos Festival with IIRIIS (2022), and set competition choreography for high schools throughout Houston (2015-2023). During his studies at HCC his self-choreographed piece, "Y", was the only student work selected to be reworked and performed a second time at The Heinen Theater (2023). He has also trained under Soundbox Studios as an active member of WyldStyl (2023).
